A Balancing Act

This is not an announcement of any sort, but clearly, I have been too busy living this amazing vocation to write about it.
The season of my life where I felt like I had no voice other than that of this blog has passed me by. I am caught up now in swimming lessons, baseball practice, prayer group, working part-time and loving on my kids every spare minute I get.
The laundry is not caught up, the house is not as clean as I would like it to be, and all those extras that I used to do like sewing and scrapbooking have fallen by the wayside.

I need to find balance.
I feel like I am still behind the 8-ball and haven’t figured out a way to get ahead of things.
This life of being a working mother is very difficult.

But completely worth it and incredibly rewarding.

Pray for me, won’t you friend?

And if you are on facebook, let me know in your comment, or shoot me an email so we can connect. Seems like the simplicity and brevity of facebook is more my style these days. And I can even check it from my blackberry – while the kids are swimming or practicing baseball!!

I was delighted to see a post from you again. I always fondly read your posts as you were the first blogger I ever followed and read. You opened up a whole new world to me filled with other wonderful mama’s near and far and inspired me to blog too. THANKS!! 🙂
I am so glad to hear that you are gracefully living your beautiful vocation and filling it with lots of family time. I continue to keep you in my prayers and hope that you continue to be abundantly blessed.
You’re phone # is still on my message board here and I will be calling one of these days, I promise. I’d love to chat, but like you, these days I find myself settling in for the long haul and embracing our life with two children…until God reveals another plan for our little family.
    Blessings dear!!

I think as working mothers..even part time – it’s a catch up game…laundry, cooking, bill paying, homework, kids’ activities… never ending but I have a feeling that when it does end someday…we’re going to miss it.. I’m on facebook..kelly lininger – send me a friend request if you like.
    God bless

You are a creative person. Your undone ironing and tidying is artistic creativity! (I know I have some of that too.
    Have a big hug.
Live each moment. At the end of life no one says “I wish I’d kept my house tidier, I wish I’d spent more time at work”
Your childen will grow and flourish under the love and care you bestow on them.
    Praying for you!

Just stepping in here, quietly, to tell you I think of you often. I pray you are finding balance and positively *soaking* up these days with your beauties.

    I send love, Stace. (((you)))

(But I do miss you, too. 🙂
